1. Service Description

MaxRouter provides an API gateway service that routes requests between client applications and third-party AI model providers. We act as an intermediary and do not develop, train, or own any AI models.

2. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use our service for:

  • Generating content that violates applicable laws (child exploitation, terrorism, etc.)
  • Attempting to reverse-engineer, attack, or disrupt our infrastructure
  • Sharing API keys publicly or embedding them in client-side code
  • Circumventing rate limits or usage controls
  • Reselling our API access without authorization

3. Billing & Payments

Our service operates on a prepaid credit system. Credits are non-refundable and non-transferable. Pricing is subject to change with 30 days notice. Unused credits remain valid as long as your account is active.

4. Service Availability

We strive for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We are not liable for downtime caused by upstream model providers, network issues, or force majeure events. Scheduled maintenance will be announced in advance when possible.

5. Third-Party Services

Our service relies on third-party AI model providers. We are not responsible for:

  • Model output accuracy, bias, or appropriateness
  • Upstream provider outages or policy changes
  • Model deprecation by upstream providers

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MaxRouter shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

7. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may close your account at any time. Upon termination, unused credits are forfeited.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or dashboard notification at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
